What’s Wrong With The World

What is wrong with the world? Iʼm sure this question has been pondered for hundreds of thousands of years.

Is it greed, corruption and need for power that is wrong with the world? Is it the fact that many wars have been started by selfishness, racism, ignorance and lack of understanding of humankind?

This question could have many answers thatʼs why my answer is that what is wrong with the world is that there is too many things wrong with the world.

I have always been a optimistic thinker and I would like to think I still am but itʼs hard not to be perceive as a pessimist when you are talking about the world.

If you really stop to think about the world with everything that is wrong with it from wars to major diseases to economic government problems you wouldnʼt even scratch the surface…

…The optimist in me would like to think that what we need to do is take each problem prioritize it and systematically come up with the answers. We all know this answer sounds better on paper then in real life. So where does that leave us?

A wise man once told me that man kind needs problems because with out problems we would not have answers and with out answers we would not have purpose.

Does this mean we should just live in a world with problems? No this just means we should solve the problems we can and try to under stand the problems we can’t.

I think life is like a revolving door some times it spins out of control and sometime it spins just the right speed that we can walk through it. I guess what I’m saying is there’s always going to be something wrong with the world itʼs what we do about it is that counts.

This is a short excerpt of Carly’s thoughts on ‘What’s Wrong With The World’. Carly is diagnosed with Autism but her ability to communicate her thoughts and feelings through words by typing them out, is astounding to say the least. Read her full written work here http://carlysvoice.com/

“My name is Carly Fleischmann and as long as I can remember I’ve been diagnosed with autism.

I am not able to talk out of my mouth, however I have found another way to communicate by spelling on my computer. (and yes that is me typing on the computer by myself)

I used to think I was the only kid with autism who communicates by spelling but last year I met a group of kids that communicate the same way. In fact some are even faster at typing then I am.

Last year a story about my life was shown on ABC news, CNN and CTV here in Canada.

After my story was played I kept on getting lots of emails from moms, dads, kids and people from different countries asking me all sorts of questions about autism. I think people get a lot of their information from so-called experts but I think what happens is that experts can’t give an explanation to certain questions. How can you explain something you have not lived or if you don’t know what it’s like to have it? If a horse is sick, you don’t ask a fish what’s wrong with the horse. You go right to the horse’s mouth.”  http://carlysvoice.com/
